What
is Central Air Purification?
While portable
or in-room air purifiers provide air cleaning within a specific room or area,
Abatement Technologies' CAP Central
Air Purifiers are designed to provide "whole house" air
cleaning. These devices are installed into a home's central HVAC system, just
upstream from the air handler (furnace or air conditioner), similar to a
central humidifier. This central installation enables CAP systems to
continuously remove allergens and other pollutants and irritants from the air
being supplied to the entire occupied living space of the home, rather than
just one room. This location also keeps CAP units completely out of sight and
out of the way.
CAP
systems can be retrofit into virtually any type and configuration of forced
air HVAC system, regardless of age, and are a common sense add-on for
upgrades, or for new construction, or for replacement of a furnace, heat pump,
or air conditioner.
